The basics every new business needs. Tick them off as you go. Your ticks stay on this device.

Claim your Google Business ProfileFree at business.google.com. Add your hours, phone, service area and real photos, then finish Google's verification.
Use the same business name everywhereSame spelling on Google, Facebook, your website and your invoices. Mixed names confuse people and Google.
Get a web address in your business nameShort, easy to spell, easy to say out loud. Usually about $20 to $30 a year.
Put up a simple websiteOne page is enough to start. Who you are, what you do, the area you cover, and a big tap-to-call button that works on a phone.
Add a way to collect detailsA contact form or sign-up box so you can keep in touch. Always let people opt out.
Link everything togetherWebsite on your Google profile. Google and website on your Facebook and Instagram. Every one points to the others.
Make asking for a review easyA review link and QR code on your counter, van, invoices and emails. That is the free offer on this page.
Ask your first 5 customers for a reviewAsk in person, right after a job goes well. Never pay or reward anyone for a review, it is against Google's rules.
